Lolita Brayman is a writer and public interest attorney. She has a background in human rights and immigration law with a focus on refugee and asylum issues and humanitarian cases in support of survivors of crimes, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Previously, she lived and worked as a journalist and editor in both the Middle East and Russia and obtained a public policy M.A. in international conflict resolution and mediation in 2014. Her work and reporting from the U.S.-Mexico border, Ukraine, the Caucasus, and the Middle East has appeared in Foreign Policy, National Geographic, The Washington Post, The Nation, Reuters, among others. She is a member of the Psychedelic Bar Association and holds a certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies & Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
